The Everest Challenge is on!

GMC’ers were out in force yesterday raising money for Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Team by climbing the full height of Everest. Summit day has to be today! Contrary to popular belief, Mountain Rescue teams receive no direct government funding and so are reliant on public donations. Mountain Rescue volunteers are on call 24/7 in all seasons and all weathers. They help anyone who needs it, often in dangerous circumstances. So far this year Oggie have been called out 84 times.
