How to join us
Joining the GMC couldn’t be easier.
Firstly, register yourself using the Join/Apply button on the website, enter a few contact details and you’ll receive login information for the website.
Secondly, come along and meet some of us. We meet regularly on a Wednesday evening at Blue Spider in Guildford. Let us know when you are coming so we can lookout for you. You can enjoy climbing with us, ask any questions you might have and generally see if we’re what you’re looking for. This is an ideal opportunity for you to be introduced to some members that have similar skills, experience and objectives to yourself. If you can’t make a Wednesday evening, let us know and we can sort out another time that does work. During this period, if you already have the skills and experience, we’d be pleased for you to join us on a couple of trips. You will be able to add yourself to the meets through the website, and join Whatsapp groups.
Once we get to know you, you will be invited to become a full member. Then all you have to do is pay your annual subscription.
Once you have done this, your GMC membership will be upgraded to make you a full member, you will have full access to the website. At the same time, you will be enrolled as a club member of the BMC, receiving a BMC membership within a few weeks of joining the GMC.
