Everest or Ben Nevis… you decide
Two super-cool things coming up shortly that need to go in your diary/calendar:
- Next Monday (27th January) we have the honour of Mollie Hughes giving us an Everest talk down at the Waterside Centre (7.45pm). For a few hours Mollie was the youngest girl ever to climb Everest! She’s since been planning other trips too. Come an hear about how she got ready for the expedition of a lifetime. She’s kindly agreed to speak for free with the aim of raising money through a £5 on the door donation for two charities (Ogwen MRT, and kids for kids) so please come and listen to her talk about achieving her dreams.
- The Scottish Winter Trip which has been moved to 15th – 23rd of February. It’s still at Roy Bridge and is likely to have better winter conditions. Contact Dave Wall for details and to sign-up.
